We are Mark & Buzz, Mark moved to Boothbay Harbor in 2003 when he purchased his first restaurant and Inn. In 2007 Buzz purchased a vacation home in town and together we purchased the Topside Inn in 2014. We have spent 9 years renovating the inn and were very happy to have been named “Innkeepers of the Year” by HospitalityMaine in 2020 and Topside was named the #1 Boutique Hotel in the country by TripAdvisor in 2022.

In addition to our businesses, we have family in the area, a friendly golden-doodle named Bruiser, chickens and vegetable gardens, all of which keeps us busy. However we are never too busy to answer guest’s questions or to help them plan and enjoy a wonderful coastal Maine vacation.
